LOVE NEVER
CUTS CORNERS
UNRAVELLING HIDDEN NARRATIVES, LN-CC DELVES INTO THE PROFOUND ESSENCE OF CONNECTION, UNITY, AND SHARED EXPERIENCE.
Each thread of life weaves a unique story, from the relationships we build with others to the pivotal moments that shape our shared moments. In a world of constant change, where social, political, and environmental challenges often feel overwhelming, the tenderness of love and the sentiment of connection have never been more vital. These bonds serve as the cornerstone of resilience, empathy, and a collective sense of belonging, offering strength and a sense of purpose in an increasingly fragmented society.
To further explore the depth of intimacy and unity, the LN-CC creative team sought out four couples in their community whose journeys reveal the joyful nature of love and connection. Through light-hearted interviews, each couple, dressed in a curated Autumn/Winter 24 selection, shares nuances from their perspectives, offering insight into what it truly means to experience deep affection and meaningful relationships in today’s fast-paced world.
Finding the fun in their shared experiences, the four couples are set against the backdrop of the LN-CC London store, highlighting the enduring power of human connection, demonstrating how love, in its many forms, serves as a foundation of support, understanding, and growth, even in the face of uncertainty. Through visual storytelling, we explore the best of the season and the unremitting power of connection.
Ed + Benny: Both 32, together for nine years after a fateful Tinder swipe sparked their story. With creative roots, Ed thrives as an artist and designer, while Benny brings his vision to life as a hat designer.
Cameron + Joyce: Their story began with a chance meeting in a library back in 2019. Cameron is the founder menswear label Nuba, while Joyce’s photography captures the vibrant pulse of Hong Kong’s 24/7 mall culture.
GRAY + ASA: Gray, an artist from Texas, has called London home for 8 years. Asa, a London-based writer and researcher, is currently working on a book about heterosexual culture.
RONAN + EZRA: Director Ronan McKenzie and perfumier Ezra-Lloyd Jackson met when he gave her a fragrance for her birthday before they met in person. The fragrance, ‘i,’ said a lot about Ronan, and he figured if she liked the fragrance, they could get on well. Turns out—she did, and they have been together ever since.
