Colour clashes, bold patterns and considered tailoring featuring an intellectual aesthetic are some of the defining qualities of Dries Van Noten's work. Born into a family of tailors, the Belgian designer made a name for himself by being a prominent member of the infamous avant-garde collective "Antwerp Six". Establishing his eponymous label in 1986, Van Noten amassed the status of being a master colourist and later received the CFDA's International Designer of the Year award. Van Noten showcases his ability to communicate the visual codes of dressing through his design language of vibrant palettes, nuanced detailing and elevated silhouettes.
