Founded 2014 by Australian born London-based Stephelle Mass, MASS is a bespoke art formed unisex jewellery brand that designs one-off unique pieces. The brand was born after founder and designer Stephelle Mass dropped out of university and began experimenting with jewellery design, immersing herself in sculpting and wax casting. Each piece that Mass designs is personal to the brand, creating classic styles with innovative ideas. Valuing the importance of having a personal relationship with each handmade piece, Mass works intricately with detailing - using high quality fabrications, as well as ethically sourced precious stones. Her work is centered on exploring sensuality, connections with nature and emotional journeys through the intimacy of story telling. This season's collection displays appreciation for natural Earth elements finished with a technical touch, providing a variety of jewellery pieces made to a high standard, including chain-link necklaces, gold flat-top signet rings with the brand stamp as a vital design feature, the Awful Records pendant and even a gold tooth. To continue MASS’s reign of innovative jewellery design, this season we see high-quality fabrications, simple silhouettes and considered finishes. Staple pieces include Tear and Orb She Said Destroy necklaces, April ear cuff complemented by matching earrings and Awakened rings, all which are adorned with precious stones such as diamonds and garnets to quartz and recycled smashed glass. The embellished merino wool balaclava is a unique addition to the forward-thinking collection.
