Charlotte Chesnais created her first piece of jewellery whilst working alongside Nicolas Ghesquière as a fashion designer for Balenciaga, where she designed a multi-cuff that played with proportion. When creating for her own Parisian label, Chesnais makes pieces that flirt with both sculpture and jewellery. United by continuous, clean lines, an understanding of the body and a confident singularity, Charlotte Chesnais jewellery explores the relationship between form and use. Inspired by the work of famed sculptors Constantin Brancusi and Alberto Giacometti, expect architectural body ornaments in twisted fluid lines, abstract forms and sensual spiralling silhouettes.
