Established in 2014 after a career in landscape surveying, New Zealander Wynn Crawshaw’s eponymous label is a playful exploration of his two passions: fashion and construction. Influenced by both a rural upbringing and a reverence for nature, Wynn Hamlyn effortlessly marries ethical production and practical design with an intimate attention to beauty and tailoring. Having previously drawn inspiration from 70s carpets and mid-century CIA experiments with LSD, Crawshaw’s designs can always be relied upon to deliver timeless yet atypical designs that serve as a vivacious antidote to throwaway fashion.
