Rick Owens x Champion

One of fashion’s great brutalist designers, Paris-based American designer Rick Owens presents his latest collaboration with premium American athleisure brand Champion who celebrated their centenary anniversary last year. Owens debuted the collaboration during his SS20 show within the courtyard of the Palais De Tokyo. Champion is a sportswear brand that holds a personal significance for Owens, offering Owen’s an opportunity to reminisce on memories of his youth, when he would spend time with his Champion-clad cousins in Mexico. The designer reinterprets athletic wear to create pieces which are more aligned with his signature style, whilst also adding wearable T-shirts and outerwear to the collection, featuring a tonal embroidered Champion “C” logo. Expect neutral hues, draped silhouettes and the Rick Owens star symbol.
