Before launching NÒMARYTHM TEXTILE in 2005, buyer and director Takuma Sasaki, travelled extensively in search of talented young designers for several select stores and his boutique in Tokyo, while textile designer Masako Noguchi graduated from Musashino Art University in Tokyo before studying at Chelsea College of Art and producing textiles for numerous brands in New York. The pair founded NÒMARYTHM TEXTILE, formerly known as NÒMA t.d, to combine their talents, experience, and knowledge of design. With a focus on low-impact materials and handcrafted design, the brand produces a range of textiles using handcrafted graphics. By implementing traditional techniques and artisan skills, NÒMARYTHM TEXTILE blends traditional into contemporary.
