STORE MIX 100 NEW GEN: OBJECT BLUE

THE FIRST OF OUR LINE-UP OF NEW GEN TALENTS TO HAVE CRAFTED AN EXCLUSIVE BRAND-NEW MIX FOR LN-CC, OBJECT BLUE STANDS OUT AS ONE OF THE BOLDEST UP-AND-COMING ARTISTS IN ELECTRONIC MUSIC.

With an ear for music and an eye for design, one of LN-CC's founding members Dan Mitchell began the in-house record label before co-founding circular design studio, Space Available. To commemorate LN-CC’s 100th Store Mix, we invited Dan to curate a line-up of established DJs who have contributed to LN-CC mixes in the past and exciting emerging talents who are set to make their mark. The 100th Store Mix is released alongside two limited edition LN-CC X Space Available T-shirts and tote bag featuring the names of each DJ.

Born in Tokyo, brought up in Beijing, and currently residing in London, object blue is a captivating force in the realm of experimental club music. Her dynamic live performances seamlessly fuse techno and sound design, delivering an experience that engages the mind and seduces the body.

The self-proclaimed weird dance music-maker only started producing at the age of 22 and has since toured Asia, remixed Yaeji, played at festivals including Dimensions, Primavera Sound, RedBull Music Festival London and Dekmantel, and performed the soundtrack for Andreas Kronthaler for Vivienne Westwood’s SS20 show.

“I appreciate that LN-CC has a musical curation. More often than not fashion doesn’t pay attention to underground music. So for LN-CC I could comfortably record a wild, ever-changing mix. Not a “safe” mix if you will.”

Part of a refreshing wave of new-gen producers that has swept into the electronic music scene, object blue has rapidly evolved from an artist to watch to a prominent figure in the experimental fringe of club music.

Lose yourself in an intense yet cathartic mix of textured techno made for the party-goer. Embrace the experimental sounds and dance floor rhythms of object blue, mixed exclusively for LN-CC.
