Founded in LA and inspired by West Coast trends as much as general American youth movements, Pleasures grew out of founder Alex James’ nostalgia for classic punk, grunge and metal aesthetics. Equally influenced by his youth in the New Jersey and New York City suburbs, the brands' relaxed streetwear is a by-product of 1980s and 1990s subcultures, with t-shirts and hooded sweatshirts boasting bold graphics and emblazoned logos.
