Founded by Cherine Magrabi Tayeb in 2012, House of Today is a Lebanese non-profit organisation comprised of emerging local and international designers. The brand’s philosophy is built on the notion that emerging talent should not go unrecognised. The house celebrates the finest talent from the Lebanese design world with diverse collaborative design pieces, all focused towards the home. Designed by Nada Debs, the Concrete Candle Holder is comprised of three stackable candle holders which are crafted from pure concrete and maple and may be used to hold and display three slim candles. The concrete pieces within the set feature an all-over geometric pattern, while the wooden piece has an all-over vertical grain. The set can be used as a functional object, or stacked and displayed as an art object in its own right.
