Honey Dijon and coveted Japanese brand Comme Des Garçons have decided to join forces and collaborate together on a new capsule collection, Honey Fucking Dijon. Chicago-born Honey moved to New York City in the late-90s, and it was there that her career as a DJ took off. Her style powered by a borderless intuition, sees her sliding effortlessly between disco, house, and techno, and she is as comfortable playing in the renowned Berlin club Panorama Bar, as she is at Art Basel or a Rick Owens afterparty. The DJ-turned designer's new capsule collection celebrates a creative verve and a joining of creative spheres, it’s an exhibition of the Berlin-based DJ’s triumph in the face of structural adversity, turning the marginalisation she’s experienced into an uncompromising strength. Inspired by queer black culture, club subculture and the underground fashion scene, an array of brands would be spotted on the dance floor from Gianfranco Ferré, Gianni Versace, Claude Montana to Jean Paul Gaultier and Vivienne Westwood. Sophisticated yet durable, this capsule collection provides looks that are to be engaged with offering modern graphic T-shirts along with contemporary embossed wallets, record bags, USB carriers, and all manner of essentials for DJs and Dijon-devotees alike. Staple pieces include the logo T-shirt in an array of colours, the zip-around wallet in two different sizes and the top handle bag.
